I honestly don't see how it can survive like this. At least not where I'm at in Schenectady. I can see disgruntle employees intentionally producing bad product or look the other way as it goes by just because they don't think the fallout will impact them in one form or another. Pretty sad when you don't think you can trust anyone in any way around here.
Today's GE breeds hate. Hate of self, hate of fellow workers, hate of customers. It has become a toxic company.

why would anyone want to see anyone lose their job? thats just kind of sick. ask the guys that left how green it is on the other side? it isn't.
T rates, D rates, what's it matter. Now that everyone is getting paid more, Schenectady has a target on their back. It won't matter what rate you are when they shut the door. Culp isn't in this for the long haul, he has a very generous 4 year contract. He's going to do what needs to be done for Trian and company and won't think about the rest of us. We will keep doing nothing we have T rates to do the work when it's there and they can get laid off when it's not GE has to give us a career until retirement as we are Legacy Employees all T rates can go get job at McDonald's.

The new guy might make your wish come true. If he takes the Jack Welch approach, Schenectady will be slaughtered for all its worth! Maybe it'll become just call center for GE Power.
Why ? You can just leave and let someone who wants a job there have one.
