CGG REMOVAL from NYSE.
This is the beginning of an end to the company.
CGG will be delist by NYSE if they don’t voluntarily delist themselves. This is to save face for the company.
CGG does not worth much anymore.
It was a voluntarily delisting and not a forced one by NYSE. Nevertheless, CGG should inform its investors about its decision to pull out of NYSE listings.
It is possible that they did it for a good reason, for example, to save money. But It could be for other reasons, for example:
Investors lost their interests in the stock. This is evident in the price of the stock and the traded volume in which both stayed low for a long time.
CGG has difficulty to meet the standard requirements set by NYSE. Therefore, it looks better to get out of the exchange yourself than to be forced by NYSE.
A message by CGG that their north American operation is not doing well and they might .........!
