Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

Odd as odd can be

Supervisors, team leads, and directors are leaving. One in sales left Friday, one left today, and the director’s last day is next week. It seems the supervisors, team leads, and directors know something is going on, but they are keeping quiet on everything. They are abandoning ship one by one. They want to be nonchalant about it.

I work in offline, and my group hears things from around the center. Has anyone else noticed the same thing? I think this company will sink; maybe not this year, but within the next few years most of these departments will be eradicated or outsourced.

Are other departments witnessing the same thing? My group is not because we are small.

We don’t know anything more than the rest of you. We all work for a bunch of ungreatfull spreadsheet whatching jack asses. That’s why people are leaving. We have had enough. Nobody is drinking the kool-aid guys. Start taking care of your people while you still have some left.

I think that they are trying to keep as many people as possible until the very end so to speak in different departments. For example, departments in question where numbers are decreasing in size. I am looking for other jobs with other companies. I am not waiting for them to lay me off.
