For people affected by GF layoffs what resources are you using for finding new employment.

Placement services are total c-ap. They do nothing to help you find your next job. Just a bunch of fake sociologists, retired and/or fired ex-HR employees. What a joke!
Right management is what GF contracted to help.

Take the placement services. Seriously worth it if only for the resume editing. Really helps though.
Agreed - use linked in, and aggressively make connections with anybody you know. It's normal, so don't feel weird about it. It's not like facebook where everybody sees all your personal stuff you post.
LinkedIn is your friend, you don't need anything else!
