Rumors have been flying that theyre dumping us for Hasbro or Jazzwares?? The thought of a podunk company from Florida swiping the license is pitiful. I should've listen to my parent and became a garbage man. I would have been retired by now.

I can confirm that this is all untrue. WWE is under contract until 2021 and DC renewed their deal with Mattel earlier this year.
I’d have to agree with the last comment, WWE does not bring out the best in children.
Probably even encourages kids to bully others, from what I’ve seen of the “trash talking” the wrestlers do outside of the ring.
Best if we were done with all of it, IMO.
WWE?...who watches that c-ap, anyway?? Knuckle draggin’ Trumptards and their spawn? Good riddance. How about we promote toys that enlighten our children, not this mo--nic c-ap. Do you really want your kid begging you to take them to one of those mo--nfests?? Three hours you’ll never get back and then some. Parents need to think what direction they’re pointing their kids in with the toys they buy for them, as we need to better assess the toys we provide for them.
I don't know, Batman is pretty bad@ss. 🤔
Like DC Comics was such a boon. That property was as lame as their movies.
Do you mean we lost DC Comics too?
"So glad someone finally realized what a poison pill he was . . ."
HA! It only took more than a decade. That guy was a "Waddles" puppet. He was the one who kept promoting him, thinking he could have influence over him no matter where he was in the company. Probably would have worked too, except Waddles got let go in the great purge.
Maybe they can both make a living selling subscription boxes now.
Remember that one time he was up on stage with all the other SVPs but refused to sit down the entire time even though everyone else, including the CEO was seated in chairs? What was up with that?
DC Comics, WWE, Monster Jam - all victims of the Horror with no Wits (aka "Lil' Waddle's Lee"). So glad someone finally realized what a poison pill he was with the licensors and cut him loose. Problem is, thanks to him there's hardly any worthwhile licensed business left for us to work on.
What about DC comics? At least we still have that license.
WWE is gone, but Mattel picked up Minions 2 (the 5th - count’em all! - in a tired “franchise” from illumination and NBC/Universal. NBC/Universal knew they couldn’t get shelf space with this tired bag of dreck, so they give it to “dangerously-close-to-filing-Chapter 11” Mattel. And what’s Mattel going to do with Minions 2: a bunch of c-appy character cars from HotWheels (ho-hum), some tired Imaginext set (ho-hum-hum) and Barbie (makes all the sense in the world).
Yup - Minions 2 will make for the loss of WWE. :-)
If you’re working for Mattel you’re already a garbage man - and you’ll soon be “retiring”. As for WWE, you’ll see who the new licensee is on shelves next summer.....
WWE has an opt out for 2019.
Contract expires in 2021 not 2019.
