When is this group going to be looked at for a reorg/downsizing? Really, are they worth keeping around? Dead weight. I will say this though, they do have many perks such as travel, trips, etc. Overall, they are a drain on the company. Tipsord, are you listening?

I don’t like the tone of these threads. If YOUR job is on the line, you’re an exemplary human being and State Farm is evil incarnate. Yet, people are more than willing to personally demonize people they don’t know, who occupy some other position that they think should be eliminated.
I can’t imagine if they don’t it is crazy they are still here it’s got to be 100 million in expenses my sister said her’s is a total waste of money and just try’s to get everyone on a conference call which they have almost nobody. Come on we are getting kill time to cut the fat.
I know a lot of SL and they are hard helping recruiting new agents, training , and helping new agents and existing agents that want to achieve their goals and not lay back. The SL position is a very important one and I have been on both sides in operations and agency and we as a Company need SL that want to achieve.
I guess then the Sales Leaders position is cook. No value with that position! I will be happy to see them go through the process. Going to be some sad faces.
Everybody here seems to think they know all the other un needed positions at State Farm. Not including their own irreplaceable position of course.
As a general rule....if customers don’t know who you are you are probably expendable.
That ok my son ended up with a Deloitte, He had graduated from USC with an accounting degree. I was more embrassed more than anything that they didn’t take the interview seriously. He is a good kid probably for the best.
Instead of calling for the heads of other rank and file employees, I prefer to call for the heads of the id--tic executives who continue to rape and pillage the company to line their own pockets.
OMG! An interview on a boat? WTH is this company coming to? Probably a VPA! THAT'S a vice president of agency. They run around with guns in A COMPANY VEHICLE. Seen it personally myself. Sad to hear about your son and the current reputation of a company that was NEVER that way under RUST.
My son was looking at the State Farm agency opportunity, I have been with State Farm for 24 years and suggested he contact a local agent or the manager. He scheduled an appointment with the market manager. From there it got interesting he did the appointment on his boat at a marina not to far away thank goodness, My son went dress for a professional interview, the discussion center just around financial services and if he was interested in traveling the world. But after talking with the local agents, they told him to run and not trust anything he tells you. I felt really bad and was at a lost for a response. I’m glad he investigated, but he decided to pursue a different opportunity.
OMG! Agents too! Too many in our town!
They are on the block January. I know two SL’s said that they fluff there schedule usually playing golf a couple of times a week. Its a shame I know a lot of new agents that need assistance. It would be wise for SF to sc-ap this level. They work remote one of the two I know says he does conference calls from bed or by his pool. He should have never told everyone at a cook-out that it was the best gig in SF. Everyone just look at each other going what the heck is going on.
