One silly toilet game does not drive revenue for a failing multi billion dollar company. Typical presentation by an executive who does not know the business. Highlight one product when the rest of the portfolio of products is Under performing. The poorly performing segments outweigh one toilet game. It is very possible that the liquidation of TRU fed a sales frenzy on Barbie and HW. Could that have been sales momentum Mattel execs saw in Q2? Very possible that it was. Now the TRU liquidation sales frenzy is over, so the momentum could have vanished with TRU. Like Ynot said , “it is all about show and tell”. Seems to be true with Mattel, all show and tell without any substantiation with results.
YAWN is a clueless fool like the rest. what’s the point of having a room full of generals if you don’t have an armynto fight the war? This is such a FUBAR business plan. Do they think MOA is going to do all the design? It’ll be as wonky as a poorly spelled take-out menu.

I thought there would be some kind of new news or announcements but Y-Not said all the same things that he did last time except now they're more expensive executives with huge salaries. Didn't they just fire a bunch of people to make their numbers? doesnt hiring more at the top counter-act this? watching this remotely felt like we were watching a rerun of a show we have seen before.

Layoffs are coming
That's very thoughtful of Mattel! We will be able to enjoy an extended holiday from Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, President's Day, Memorial Day... until we find our next new job, love it!!
