Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

OTS

I know Regional makes such a big deal when they come in your store and pick you apart during your pre-certification walks but couldn't you walk in any store that is OTS certified and pick them apart the same way and fail them? what's it really matter if your OTS certified ? I went to an OTS certified store and saw many holes, fronting that wasn't two deep in many areas but yet they're OTS certified so what exactly is OTS certified? just something they come up with cuz stores don't follow it.

holding powers don’t matter especially when the wharehouse is constantly out of items and the oos sheet is mostly red .

daily change on the orderguide is impossible along with merch map changes.

with the romaine recall man the walls are not to ots .

here in florida region it looks very empty .

holding powers are not reflecting the way the mercch map is supposed to be .

if we change it the buyer doesn’t know what the original item was since we updated the map.

translation is we lose sales in since map is different and order guide holding powers changed.

why jeff bezos hasn’t cracked down on this is beyond me .

i guess commin sense isn’t so common .

but oh well keep pleasing the global and regional teams with pointless tasks.

enjoy your pointless waste of labor.

Why are store receivers conducting "landlord walks." While we are add it why are receivers doing the work for accounts payable? How about receiver receive merchandise in the door and scan it in like every other retailer on the planet?

Do any other supermarkets do this? It is such a waste of time and it's the customers getting screwed.

Before the certification walk everyone is pulling 12 hour shifts to make sure every little thing is perfect. The standards are not realistic so the work leading up to it isn't either. The regional team doing the walk then sees a snapshot of what the store looks like and then certifies the store for a year. The very next day it looks like trash again. It's all a game and you workers at the bottom are the pawns.

global and regional can’t even agree on ots standards every auditor has different interpretations of ots if they are caught making a mistake during their own audit and they get called out they sick the higher up with them on the tl’s to put them in their place to protect their under performing ots auditor.
