Here's what happened at Sams optical.

My experience has been, If upper management denies, ITS TRUE!
Change the warranty policy one year one time... Millions saved... Change the hours 10-6 Monday through Sat. Closed Sun... Millions saved.. No probe, no district manager.. Direct report to store manager... Millions saved.. Common sense solutions to make the VC profitable again.. AND IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN.
Ipads....snort lol! They work great when 80% of your customers have medicaid and you can show them all the fancy upgrades for lenses on the iPad that none of them have money for.
Mony Iyer...we need an email or conference call on what the changes are going to be very soon!!!! We've been waiting for months. If we're not being sold off, are we splitting from pharmacy? That's the other big rumor. Let us all know already. A lot of us are feeling stagnant in our roles because nothing is changing and we're ran by pharmacists who don't understand Optical the way an Optician does. We're being micromanaged because they don't know what else to do but drive down exact go do's from one person that told them something was the best way (uh hum...BPE when we have iPads now). Please let us know something soon. Please tell us you're going to come in and save the day...LOL
Having an open meeting with the associates has nothing to do with the open door policy. An open door discussion is taking a concern you have to the next level of management without fear of retaliation.
I challenge Mony Iler to have an open meeting with managers and opticians where questions and concerns can be addressed per open door policy LOL!
To the person asking why can't WM be honest with their associates: No company has ever been honest with their employees. If they were, productivity would shut completely down.
NVA has managed vision centers in some Walmarts for over 20 years, so that's not new news. That has nothing to do with the here and now. Mony came to Walmart from Luxotica. And how does one take on a company that does over 80% of the total eyewear business in the world? Walmart is already considered their biggest competitor.
Why can’t they just be honest with the associates?
We all need a pay check!!
3-party makes sense people wake up!
Its all true. Do your homework and google NVA. They are already managing Walmart Vision centers under Walmart’s name. They also run Americas Best Optical too. All this information is public knowledge on their website. NVA has a business plan to take a piece of pie in the optical industry to take on the giant Luxottica.
It's only a matter of time before the takeover!
this is all b---s--- from a Troll
Yeah Mony just wants everyone to stay put and believe his email. NVA already has over 300 Walmart Vision centers in their pocket.
New SVP sent out an email today saying that us being sold off is false. I just wish they would hurry up and let us know what the changes coming are. We will not survive with what's happening now.
Sorry.
Is this a rumor about a buy out or a fact.
This rumors that are going around or factual.
Everyone is so secretive about anything in vision centers,
I suggest start looking for a new job.
