Laid Off after ten years of loyalty to a company that does not recognize employees and the good work that they do. Had the best stats of all in the department I worked in with No consumer/customer complaints and never a lawsuit filed. Sad that people who do their job and do it right are the ones to go. Some upper management needs to go.
What you wrote is so true.I have put some Glass door reviews on similar lines People First is a big JOKE in First American . It is Managers and Profit First while their own so called "People First" go to Hell...!!
Senior leadership please grow some spine and self introspect. What you did is brutal. As shareholders lets ensure there are no bonuses / raises disbursed to Senior Leadership at all and also to employees .
I hope they f---in laid me off first. I've wanted to leave this company ever since they bought us out a couple years ago. Good thing this is anonymous so Dennis Gilmore and any of his c--- s---az can go f--- themselves! LOLLLLLL
They don't do anything good to the community. Every community program they participate in is a joke. It's all a facade to stay relevant on a list nobody gives a f--- about, released by Fortune Magazines. Nobody reads magazines anymore unless you're a f---ing dinosaur like Dennis Gilmore. Any f---face at $FAF can donate money, but it takes a real human to connect with someone and not do it for Social Media likes.
I feel bad for all the sheep that got slaughtered, but at least you're free now and hopefully feel liberated. Enjoy the time off. At least in California, you're entitled to a couple months benefits and pay. Enjoy that time off while you find a better employer that will value you more humanely than $FAF. I'm embarrassed as f--- to even be a shareholder.
First American's motto is "People First". What that means is "shareholders and profits first, everything else is second, and our employees can go f--- themselves."
There will be another round. Don't know when but probably soon. Update your resume, be ready to take another offer if you get a good one.
