If there will be no Schlumberger Layoffs in 2019 please say so?

Your yearly review has very little to do with if you will be let go or not. Found out when I was there that you may sign a great review but HR can get something completely different from your manager.
You remind me of the half-wits who, during every building meeting, continually ask......'are we going to get a pay rise' with wide-eyed expectations. The definition of insanity/stupidity is asking the same question every time and expecting a different result. I despair whenever a come all meeting is announced.
On the Sugar Land Campus some years ago we had a meeting and they told us the layoffs were done. They were not done. That manager was demoted. I am sure they only meant to help us heal and get to being productive again. They probably had no idea.
Don't be so selfish, can't avoid facts.

Yes one layoff - the big one. Then we are all enjoy 5 years of trying to put the company back together. It was never his project or toy to play with in the first place
nobody on here can confirm that there will be no layoffs.
As long as there are apple polishers hiding behind the so called "organization" discrediting and firing people who have skill and integrity, there will be layoffs. So yes would be the answer.
