If you stop and think about everything going on the company, you can't help but wonder what the reasoning is for it all! First reason is greed! There's a lot going on in the UP corporate world that most don't know about! Most people know they're selling off the Selma farm resort! Has anyone thought about the why? Well there's a justification issue there! The current layoffs are happening for simple profit! Less goes out, and more comes in! A 2 year old would know that! It would raise a red flag if that place were kept open, with the current and upcoming layoffs! Not to mention if that were to be looked into by an outside source! What people aren't aware of is the actual real estate the UP still owns! Selma farm was the biggest and most expensive to operate! No mention has been made of those people being displaced! Again, the why? Why haven't those people been mentioned? All these luxuries the executive's have indulged in, are being closed down! This gives the UP leverage against possible litigation! They will have deniability! They're working on deflecting the attention of self interest! In other words, they're going to make it look like the restructuring is necessary! If this were to end up in a litigation process, the UP would most likely win! So keep up the pressure folks! Make this as hard as possible for the UP! Just because they got in a good punch, doesn't mean the fight is over!
