Disney Channel has announced the appointment of Mattel as a official toy partner on their new animated series: “101 Dalmatian Street”.
Keeping in mind the position of the toy industry these days, I can only say that deals like this are something we desperately need in order to keep afloat.

LOL! This isn't even a tertiary property - it's just more junk content from a company that measures it's success in how much unearned revenue they bring in from their ridiculous deals. It's unfair that Mattel is granted this property when they:
1) Will have no one to work on it after the November layoffs (another 2,000 people I'm told)
2) Have no money to advertise or market it (it also goes to the $l*+, Barbie)
3) This show will get all of 2,500 people watching it
