So much talk here but very little on actual layoffs. Should I take that as a good thing?

Rumor is Nov 1 is the layoff date so they can get everyone off the books by year end.
Layoff planning usually occurs after VRIP, VJIP. No numbers, % or location is being communicated right now. I suspect they are trying to figure out how to accelerate the cost out and it will have to include more than just an across the board cut of staff.
VRIP going thru Gas Power right now.
There will be some hiring in power division after the $15B contract from Iraq.
