Everyone at UPC is trying to get the facts as to what is going to happen. I'm assuming since senior management is aware this communication is going around and nothing has been addressed as of yet means it's most definitely going to happen. Good luck, fellow railroaders. I hope we all don't get as screwed as we think we are.

The reason people are kept in the dark is so a retaliatory act can be eliminated! There's people out there with guns! If you knew you were about to be let go and lose everything, don't you think you'd be a little p-ss-d? Fritz is a joke, pure and simple! He's done nothing for the company except run it down! Koraleski kept it afloat, but Fritz let it sink! Keeping people in the dark maximizes occupational safety during times of terminations like this one! Good luck my fellow brothers and sisters! I'll be praying for you

Lance and senior management are doing everything they can to keep up with the other railroads. UP is always ahead of the curve when it comes to the economy
Current Senior management has shown time and time again that they don't give a damn about employees. Big shareholders and themselves are the only stakeholders that matter in their world.

I think that’s because this whole thing is different in some way. Generally with layoffs UP has been able to stand behind a somewhat lagging economy or poor business forecast, but the economy is booming and unemployment is very low. It’s like they’re getting ready for something.
That’s bc you’ve both been removed and given to worthy people.
