I spent my career in engineering. I worked at a couple of small companies and eventually got into Kodak. After a few years there I was extremely disappointed with the short sightedness of the place and left for an opportunity at Xerox. Great people, great work, great benefits, good pay, and hard work was rewarded. It was a great company up until about 15 years ago when things started to erode. I got out of there 5 years ago. The continual stress of IRIFs and losing good people to VRIFs and not replacing them and the maturity of xerography made it a bad place to be. Get out, there is life after Xerox!
This is not my original post, but it very much complies with my experiences at Xerox. My only mistake was not leaving, like the OP claims he has done. Posted by : @VBJ6yEs-3msb
