Anyone else get a email tlo be on a 9:15 cst conf call this morning? I pray its a call to notify we are closing.

So, anybody willing to say which stores?
If the 76 is only Sears then there is a Kmart email with 66, my store is one of them so it appears the conference call will be to tell your store it is closing.
If you want to get rid of the constant stress, I would recommend looking for a new job immediately. Staying with the hopes of a layoff and severance is not the route to take.
Whats strange is forst there are 76 Sears stores on the call. Maybe if there were 60 something Kmart it would natch the 142. However, looking at the ebitda of stores on the list a large majority are actually profitable. Not that that means anything in todays retail clinate but just saying. At this point I really don't care if my store is closing as long as I get a severance package for my 10 years of service. Wouldn't be horrible to get rid if this constant stress.
The list of stores which include oxon hill and prince Frederick in Maryland will be closing . We decided these stores would be next anyways. Some due to leasing issues some due to unprofitable. Sorry, good luck everyone.
