Lowe's Store Closing: Change from 10pm to 11pm

After years of store closers leaving at 10pm. the new store mo--n manager now telling workers they do not leave until 11pm. A fantastic plan to have the staff heading to the doors. Good job Sir!

What time does the store manager leave?

The stores here do not get customers after around 8 p.m. If they figured out what they are spending on power to keep the building open and employees wages (albeit not many working), they would find that the cost to keep the store open is far more than the few sales they get. Bottom line is they are wasting money keeping the store open. Home Depot closes an hour earlier so they have a clue about when it is more beneficial to shut down versus stay open with no sales.

What store manager would close earlier then they have too?? They only care about sales and not about people lives. What a mo--n company.

At our store we’re currently scheduled till 11p. Starting 11/2 will go back to 10p shift happens every year. So it would be frustrating to have a routine and he change it up. However I remember this topic came up at my store and the store manager has the option to make this call if sales are not impacted.
