I think a lot of us are disappointed

I think a lot of us are disappointed that capped out team leaders are getting a raise. I heard the rumors that their pay would get cut but now the opposite is true. We all wanted to see them get whats coming to them but it seems that it wont be happening for awhile. Veteran TL at whole foods is still the best job out there even if we dont want it to be true. Goddamn it.

OP, Time for you to find a new job. Why choose to make yourself so miserable everyday? TL group works just as hard as anyone, you don’t see the stress, impossible labor targets or closed door conversations that happen, quite possibly because they’re doing a good job of not letting it show. The level of schadenfreude here is what disappoints me. Be happy for all of us, receiving pay closer to a living wage is something to accept graciously and to celebrate.

as a team leader we take everything that happens on the team on the clock or off the clock without pay of course.

we are the ones that have to deal with coordinators,ec’s, everclean food safety or weights and measures ,department fullness ,ots compliance, holding team members accountable regardless if they quit and leave us hanging with workload that already is huge,power hungry and power obsessed store leadership and of course the all mighty yelp reviewer who really doesn’t have a realist neutral view but we write up team team members according to this site so if someone has a grudge guess what you are out of a job.

since we got bought out by amazon so many asians and indians come in claiming they know bezos directly and will have us hanged for not meeting their expectations.

so shut up and get back to work!

TL’s do so much on the backend it would make your head spin. We get beat up on more than tm’s... you just don’t see it.

Everyone is doing what they can, calm down. Move up or get out if you don’t like it.

Maybe there are some tls that dont deserve it but same could be said w tms who are getting raised to $15. But majority of TLs that i worked w give their best. So dont be grumpy and be glad everyone got something. Everyone has bills and/or families to take care of. Just be greatfull you got something. Subscribe to Amazon prime great way of saying thank you and your portafolio will thank you too since lots of people will be getting shares too. Just saying. Be smart. Stock will hit $2500 or higher sooner than later. Dont waste this opportunity
