Maybe I am one of the people who has their head in the sand. I know stocks are dropping and the company seems to be sinking beyond return, but did something happen that triggered these comments/posts?
Its human nature. Some people choose to stick their head in the sand and ignore events happening around them, while others choose to be proactive about ensuring their survival Use the hurricane for example. You have those who gtfo and those who say, oh itll be fine nothing will happen to ME. Same principle at play here.

This is so true, if you got the axe while the severance is what it is now, you are lucky... The severance package WILL be changing after Jan 1, and I promise you it won't be to our benefit.
It's hard to walk away especially some of us old timers, but if your primary income is Windstream then please do find something else. It's days are numbered. There has to be drastic change and that is not happening. If not then buckle up buttercup and enjoy the ride.
