Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

It got really quiet

In my position I usually come in to many emails in the morning. No less than 15 at the extreme lowest - upward of a couple hundred on the other extreme. Today, I open up my email and I have exactly one and that one is a Yammer update. The support mailbox I watch also had one - a follow up from a support conversation from yesterday. If it was December near Christmas I wouldn't think anything about it but for today - it is unusual. Even with layoffs occurring, those left are generally scrambling for support to help them get things done. Apparently not today.

or it could be the poor Xerox email servers. I get phantom delays in emails often. Poorly managed infrastructure along with every other area.

Everyone is out interviewing. Or at least they should be! People leaving voluntarily every day.
