This company is a disgrace to work for that's why I'm gone. We have people at our store (#1201Chico, CA.) that have been there since it opened 17 years ago. All of them are over 55 and were told NO more raises or COLA's ever. This company needs to be investigated for age discrimination. This place is a joke, they never fixed the store A/C this summer in one of the hottest years on record. Employees had to go out to there cars and run there A/C to get some relief. I' am ashamed and embarrassed to admit that I worked for lowe's, Our managers brag about their large bonuses. Shortly some of these people will be there for 20 years or more and making minimum wage. At this time in there lives, no one in this area is going to hire a 60+ person for a full time job anywhere else.

What is the future like for a store manager who has been at the same store for 10 years, and passed over for a market director job many times?
Lowe’s has a little known pay cap for every position. Once you reach it, there is generally little to no increase in pay. At most, 1% per year I believe.
