Anyone else get declined their EOI?

Did anyone else get declined their EOI? I volunteered but was denied and saw two people get walked out that didn't EOI. How can management be this incompetent?

-uxu is telling it straight. in addition to what he/she mentioned, i also got a full body massage, manicure, pedicure, and high colonic after being notified of layoff. not to mention that i've still got the use of my company truck and red card for as long as i need them (and they even upped my limit since christmas is right around the corner)

SPIRIT, yo!

They aren't walking people out here just giving them notice. They are allowed to pack up after work and move to another office where they can use phones, copiers, and fax machines, and get help with resume and job search.

Sounds like you should just quit anyway.
