Managers have PTSD from District Staff in Midwest

I know a few Managers that have PTSD from working with DCSTs and Regional Ops Managers who were unbelievably strict. Not only would they talk to you like you were less than human, they would gossip with other managers with you like you had no feelings at all. The movie Mean Girls got nothing on those broads. Karma is getting them so all is well.

I worked in the corporate office from 2012-2016 and it was just as horrible! It literally felt like highschool where some of the other caddy girls would gossip and tell HR “things I said” or “things they heard me say” (Just like highschool.) The corporate zombies are so brainwashed and cult like they all date each other. I suffered mental problems from that place along with severe skin problems (Which I never dealt with before or after that hell hole) and I wasn’t the only one going through it there. It was so bad that I finally quit with no job lined up. I was told by one of the disrespectful tyrants there that “buying wasn’t for me” when that’s what I knew I was passionate about and had studied for years. I have now been happily working for a much better company for almost two years now with great people, who never make me second guess my values or that “buying is for me.” It’s hilarious how management there refuses to acknowledge that it’s just them that weren’t for me (or for the thousands of other victims who have worked there.) That place is toxic and is one of the retail chains that deserves to fall apart.
