Full disclosure, I do not work for ConocoPhillips. I was laid off from a similar company in January. There is a federal law called OWBPA (Older Workers Benefit Protection Act) Along with that, there is usually an additional 8 to 13 weeks severance if you sign a waiver not to pursue legal action
