I heard the App-D team took a big hit last week, but have no details.
During my 1-to-1 with a Sr. Manager, I came to know, that some business of Collaboration where there is a flat, but consistent revenue, is to be outsourced. The employees of these products will be transferred to the outsourced company.
List was prepared by August End. By November the staff will be notified and in blocks, just to avoid the Fed eyes. It is in line of 4K and mostly impacting the old Businesses of Collaboration, CCBU, SourceFire, SP and Nexus along with sales, PM and support. This will offset the count of new staff that came by acquisitions in last couple of quarters.
