Citrix Cloud love

I walked away from CWC. Buggy, poor architecture, obviously lacking change control, connectors lack HA. I was using the NGaaS, only VDA;s were in my control. After 1000+ms of latency and the connector update pushed around 1045AM causing a complete outage for my users I was done. Good in theory, but it's not very polished. The support team in ATL is excellent, however much is out of their control. Connector update controls need to be implemented immediately as it is the proxy for everything. A user down the hall from the VDA has their ICA session bounced around the east coast (I counted about 11 hops at one point) resulting in horrific latency and with the connector reboot, I just couldn't continue down that road anymore. Perhaps in another year it'll be ready for prime time.

Citrix cloud was useless all day when Azure was down. They are lying to customers that only a small number of customers were affected. There is no integrity left at Citrix. Engineering is lying. Leadership is lying.

Fake status page. Fake uptime reporting. Fake Cloud numbers! Spineless organization with horrible NPS.

Citrix won’t collapse. It will merely continue on with depressing mediocrity. It’s a good thing Citrix Cloud has so few customers because it is far from ready to scale up.

Connector for HDX traffic proxy'ing is the lousiest idea that came out of Citrix in the last 60 months. I mean it's so bad that architects should get fired.

What do you say Juan? JR? PJ? Henshall knows sh-- if it doesn't involve excel.

@CitrixCloud @citrix working on a customer project we have issue since this morning ... VMs cannot register, no update of catalog possible, VDA cannot find the local DC which is a cloud connector. A day almost lost 😕Hope this will be resolved soon
