There is no value of talent in Cisco anymore. These rumours of layoffs are reality now. Better work in other companies or even startups instead of mentally torturing and blaming yourself. Many of the colleagues are having mental breakdown in Cisco.

Very True. I'm Architect at CCBU in BXB and have been giving transitions for last 4 years, first to Wipro and later to Cisco Bangalore. I'm there still as the quality of Bangalore is not 25% of what was delivered by BXB. With margins reducing, Indian product managers who are unable to push the sales and product features, the company has no other way but to acquire other companies and do the work. The threat of layoffs is there for past 32 quarters that I have seen and is very depressing. Many of our earlier work force of BXB are now working at startups.
