If Google had fared better buying Motorola, they would have been the most likely buyer at this point. China letting Qualcomm go to a Japanese company is about the least likely outcome in the world. Good luck with that approval.

Why - it’s been wrecked by SM and co? I put in my resignation. Made it through cuts ( wish I hadn’t - would have gotten severance at least), but working there with current leadership is career s---c-de.
The top notch team wrecked in Raleigh would take decades to put together again. The costs to the company losing those people isn’t on a balance sheet but pales in comparison to the 1 billion it was supposed to save. If they were farmers it’s the same as eating the seeds for your future crops.
