Thread regarding Mattel Inc. layoffs

Thanks Mattel

Thank you for 15 great years of employment, i loved my job and most of the people I worked with. The last 5 were not so good, but it all worked out in the end. I'm looking forward to the future.

Here's how people changed under pressure: All the balony about being "a team" and supposed long-term friendships evaporated faster than a raindrop in death valley. It became stab each other in the back and claw for the last scrap of meat. Bottom line is it was just a job. Your genetic family is all that counts in this life... If you don't have siblings that are like coworkers.

15 good years and 5 not so good years = 20 years

so 1/4 s---ed, but it was interesting to see how people change under pressure.

Wow, I feel like I posted this. I basically ditto the post. I have a few more years under my belt, but it was a nice ride for the most part. Not so much for the last five years. In the end, I can only say- One should never have to stress year after year, about actually keeping their job. Life is too damn short
