Of course they do. the svp comp package and bennies are out of this world. juan and sridhar are more than likely pulling down $300k - $400k in base salary alone, in addition to probably same amount in bonus each year, not to mention RSUs which are in the multiple thousands each year.

Don't be naive, Juan only loves his paycheck. If he loved the company he would've taken the risk and strongly backed up Cloud-native solutions. Instead riding half dead horse to super comfortable retirement while competition surges ahead. Well respected?

The problem is that he does not have the time to fix everything. He was not asked to build cloud from scratch. He was asked to move products to the cloud. How can you take Unidesk which is for a single customer and move it to the cloud? You run one copy for every customer.
