New return policy

I wish SOMEBODY could tell the stores if they are to enforce our new return policy.

Are we enforcing? Are we re-educating? Are we making exceptions? Nobody knows.

Probably safer to just go with “business as usual” because we all know Corp won’t back us up if we get a complaint!

We were told to do whatever the customer wants. “We” don’t want to be that store that gets a complaint. Tell the customer about it but don’t enforce it.

Although the new return policy is much needed to combat return fraud and abuse, I feel like it’s going to take a very long time to properly implement the policy. Many of our honest customers shop with us because we stand behind our products. I feel as though the new return policy will turn off many customers and they’ll just shop at Amazon since they have great customer service also. The dishonest customers will continue to use and abuse the return policy because they know if they yell and scream loud enough, BBB will cave as always. Just do the right thing by the customer, because you know that if the customer calls or emails customer service, you’ll get in trouble anyway.
