There is a big Cisco public announcement coming on Thursday.
Heard it will be offset by layoffs in India group that is not doing as well.

I just had to layoff my entire team in Bangalore. Only could keep the US team (and half at that).
On thursday, there is an announcement of hike given to Bangalore employees. It is 5% to 15% on average. Also some more hirings are being done here to offset SJ and RTP layoffs. All is good. Many Grade 10 and 11 will be promoted to 12.

The condition in Bangalore office is so pessimistic, courtesy, by so called VeePees /Directors, that the employee will run away on its own.
