Pepsi can not keep drivers bc the job is not worth the pay. 12-15 hours a day, handle 10,000-13,000 lbs of product a day 2 to 3 Times a day. No breaks, no lunches bc you would be out that much longer. Management and the company do not give a crap about you at all. Here is your junk truck no AC have fun

Being a Pepsi driver used to be a fantastic job. In the 80s I was the lowest paid driver at our facility, and was making what the average Masters Degree earned in our county. I remember the older drivers talking about not having Social Security taken out in October because they had maxed out.
Unfortunately, you are just a FTE to the company. The most important thing is that the VP can live in his lower Midtown high rise.
