I read it as we trained them to perform the switch over and then the power down, after they layed us all off when the time came to perform the work these off shore outsourced jack offs tried to take the short cut and shut everything down rather then one at a time. it would appear they didn't understand the merits of the operation they were doing, and just trying to work through a half assed procedure. You have to have some clue of wtf you are doing and why you are doing it... Other wise your just pressing buttons. Then when it did come tumbling down, in this case by humar error, but could have easily been something else. Your people who know, who can bring quick resolution are gone. Is the cost of this IT diaster worth the offset? Thisthe lesson management needs to learn.
