NXP deal destroyed QCOM culture. We changed so many things to BE LIKE NXP. I think it was a dumb move. We should go back to the way we had it.
F__k China's SAMR cynicism! They are open an hopeful to N Q deal? They had more time than the other 8 countries all toguether and did nothing but use it as as bargaining chip!! Thanks God China's SAMR doesn't have that tool anymore. Not that I wanted the N deal to go through, it would have been a nightmare for Q anyway.
Over-compensated morons destroying Q ... Imagine one of the founders wasting 2 bi, and then repurchasing stocks with almost all the reserves to push stock prices up ...
No negotiations are to be restarted. Fake news. The deal is over and the NXP CEO said in this conf call that the risk of future mergers of this magnitude is very high to go through another one again. Moreover, he said that to blame for the failure is either the political environment or the other party, QCOM. Meaning that QCOM has had lots of anti-trust problems in the past and abuse of dominant power.
