Don't kid yourselves. The stock is still tanking and new york real estate (especially a functioning good condition campus) is ripe for being sold off to another company to set up shop in upper NYS. NY was bound to be cut even if their properties were tanking like thomas.
Just a heads up to the future ES transplants from NY. Don't expect a long stay in ES, they will watch you, learn your process and you will start getting the "not fitting in with the ES culture" comments in your reviews until you are eventually pushed out. Unless you're a serious "type A" A-hole who gets off on back stabbing you will not last. I've seen it happen so many times it's pathetic. Don't feel ashamed to ask your family for help moving back to the east coast. At least you tried.
Exactly, the fact the FP is highest in sales and suffering from the worst performance is a major issue right now.
Is the Sproutling office in San Fran still open?
It’s not bragging. It’s saying shut the fu** up to the bitter Mattel people saying we are a drain on the company. Pointing the finger in the wrong direction. Maybe there are some other extraneous arms that need to be severed. (AG or Mega perhaps?)
You are bragging about being number one of a failing company, in a division that saw double digit percentage loss last quarter?... Context matters.
Q2 2018 Sales:
Fisher-Price: $236.2M
Barbie: $170.7
Hot Wheels: $167.3
American Girl: $45.2
What were you saying about crickets?
Crickets......nothing but crickets
and yet more and more people will be cut because FP is a logo. Not the people. Those crappy toys can be made anywhere and all it needs is the logo. Your talent is a dime a dozen. deal with it.
Did any of you heroes from EA listen to the Town hall today. There's nothing but a huge s---ing sound coming out FP. Maybe stop talking yourself up and quit being a drain on the company.
FP is the #1 brand in the Mattel portfolio. The $$ dont lie.
Can you seriously look at stuff on shelf and say that?
Agreed, FP, despite ownership by Mattel, has remained a good toy company.
