Richard has four solid years of stock decline under his belt since he came back to the company in 2014. When he started the stock was hovering around 38. It's now at 15 and has pretty much been averaging around there. Upon his arrival he was "tasked with reviving Mattel’s ailing brands." He has FAILED and has cost a ton of people their jobs. Yet, he's still here... with his monthly car allowance. W H Y?

Thank you for posting these obscene, irresponsible & over inflated salaries. It’s absolutely mind blowing that RD is paid $8.7 millionfor driving Mattel over the cliff. He & SM were the biggest contributors to Mattel’s current catastrophic state. But it’s not just the over compensated leadership who are to blame, a thorough house cleaning of the Mattel Board of Directors is long overdue.
