News reports say 2,200 will be laid off. I saw somewhere (WaPost maybe) that less than half of that will be in the US.
20 this week at AG HQ and 100 at AG retail. Anyone have numbers for other locations?

every time a company lays people off they have to notify the state (california) prior. that should be public info that anyone can look up. do your homework slackers.
Clearly they lied to investors about the number of people they were planning on firing, ended up being nowhere close to that number, oh and they also lied about closing factories and moving manufacturing to independently owned plants. Lots of lies at each earnings call these days.

Heard another round in August. But that could be EU as I understand labor laws are more favorable to workers so the axe men need more ramp up time. Frankly the whole company will likely be sold by May 2020.
The numbers aren’t adding up so does that mean there’s another round in a few days or next week ?

200 got let go in El Segundo / nearly 20% from CP alone. Sid got the axe last week and JH got plucked this week.
Well NYC office closure was about 150 give or take...
Dunno if they’re counting AG’s wilmot dc that’s closing, but that was only 185

EA didn't feel that bad. Ynot said mostly behind the scenes support roles let go, so maybe thats what it doesn't feel like a big one.
We are all puzzled. I am in ES and it did not feel that bad.
