If I was a small business I would never work with Apple because they will make impossible demands and force you into one sided deals.
Anyone who deals with Apple knows they run their suppliers out of business (or at least they try to). Anyone who thinks they can hang their hat on the Apple hanger is an id--t if they think it's secure. Intel and Mediatek aren't id--ts, they'll take the socket when they can but I don't think they have any illusions that's it's long term.
