Probably whenever they do the town hall...heard there will be more after earnings are reported though. That may have been an unsubstantiated rumor.

It is illegal to end employment contact on paid medical leave per the labour law in hk. I’m surprised at the case you mentioned.

Agree with LP. I know of an employee that was laid off while on medical leave.
You’d get a call fro either your department lead or HR. They would try to handle it today, as much as possible. No point in putting it off.
I heard you’re called even if you’re on vacation. If today is the day and your name is on the list it shouldn’t matter where you are. At least so I heard.
