From what I've pieced together from the posts, it looks like it's under 50 people. That's not as bad as I have feared.
Although the day is far from over, so who knows how high that number might go before it's all done.

I believe the 3 people in nyc were from the research department. That department got wiped out across all campuses.
Some NYC staff told they would work remotely... and just got axed. Agree with the other person until there is a department meeting I seriously doubt it’s over. Will probably end Thursday.
From the office closing, just a few people (I think 2 to 5) were told they could stay on, working remotely. My understanding is that these people were affected by the layoffs today. Really s---s.

It's disgusting what's happening
My husband was cut this morning from EA! Only there for 7 years not making big buck either. I think they just put names in a hat & pick.... was there early every day, never called in sick, went above & beyond his job. Do they ever look at that? No they get rid of the dedicated & keep the slackers. Funny how the new CEO comes into town last week & tells everyone that FP I s keeping them afloat & then they do this! What is America coming to??
