I get the impression our organization is fat at the SVP and VP level. Numerous managers across the functions at that level and above seem to be mostly engaged in politics and personal enpire building.
Forget the 360 and manger feedback, thats dangerous if you say what you think for real, tell us what do you think here, and what do you think should be done?
Give them bigger bonuses and incentive to do more dirty work.
Executives need these people to do their dirty work.
More likely the middle and workers get the hit as always. The spineless double dealing VP's will put your name on that list and tell the rest its all good and how you are "safe".
Yes the last RIF focused on 50 and older Director/Sr Director, there is so much fat at VP and SVP level it is ridiculous. It will be fun to watch the a@@ kissing by all these VPs during next RIF.
