Scotland is the land of the brave.

Apart from when it comes to standing up to Westminster. Oh and of course choosing independence. And maybe not so brave when it comes to standing up against Brexit. Come to think of it anything more complicated than queuing for dole money or operating a deep fat fryer is a worrying prospect for your average jock.

Perhaps not land of the brave but more the land that time forgot.

It is more that the English have always looked down on Scotland even to this day. If someone hates you, many people choose to hate back.

The Scots hate the English. First night and all. So saying Dyce is in England is offensive to a Scot and somebody who worked there would know that.

In USA they use England as UK

It’s a cultural educational thing

You need to take a geography class Tex. Dyce is not in England.

I worked some hitches over there in England back in the 90s for Baker out of Dyce. 6 weeks on the rig we did back then per hitch and made a lot of money. We trained a lot of people from Aberdeen and got to know them real well

Loved it and the people were real hard working folks

Would go back in a Texas minute

Call the police and catch them driving home drunk

Hope they don’t hit anybody

Should go to jail

How long before SLB and HAL start copying Full Stream I wonder?

Cant be long and I am sure they will be analyzing all the success BHGE is having with this strategy

And that means Baker FS engineers will be in huge demand going forward give the experience and track record with this

I know that here in Saudi Aramco are going crazy to buy FS services and this is a great sign

Glad I jumped on the FS train when everybody else was saying that Baker were going down. I bet they are regretting that now !

What has we done to offend our American colleagues here in Scotland that our engineers are not permitted to apply?

Is it the drinking culture?

The obvious low intelligence levels seen from the comments on this site?

The lack of Full Stream knowledge in Aberdeen?

The poor quality of the management over there?

Or something else?

It’s a real puzzler this one

Wow - that’s a great package for FS engineers and good to see that happening right now.

I sent my CV to our HR manager and she told me that they are being swamped by applications right now and may take some time to get a reply.
