Does anybody know when those who have been laid off in the latest round will receive severance? Wasn't it supposed to already be paid out?

Correct. The docs the hr rep gave you list all the key dates. You will still get biweekly regular paychecks for the next 3 months, then the severance payment the next pay cycle after that.
If Malta or wherever you are / were is the same as EF, it will be a few months . My Husband was laid off in June but still technically on the payroll for 60 days ( Malta 90, We were told) .He just received the severance ,August 31st. Hope this helps ,Good Luck .
