They moved a bunch of 7LP people (I guess those with higher ratings) into 14 at the expense of 14LPP employees that were let go. So we are treated like carpetbaggers to the 14LPP teams and they are p*ed their co-workers were let go and now they have to train US to do the job. Yeah, really well thought plan. Works well on paper, I guess. I started looking before the layoff and had 3 offers witihin a couple of weeks - I will be out the door so fast, I won't have to worry about it hitting me in the a.

I think they laid off some 14 engineers and shifted the tiny handful of 7nm engineers who were retained into those spots.
