Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

I think they should go back to a one tier system.

You get what you pay for when it comes to t rates. When talking to a lot of those guys I feel like I’m talking to a box of rocks for the most part. Hear me out I think anyone including d rates who don’t have a degree or formal trade school / military trade schools should be let go. Keep the d rate scale and rehire based on these qualifications there would be no issue when it comes to quality. No one could complain and it’s a fair set system for all.

Can anybody please explain the A B C payscale that was voted in? How were the legacy rates impacted? If the ABC is in effect, did that cancel out the 2 tier system? Thanks

Nobody in GE is a college graduate. Even management. That's why GE is at the bottom right now. Only the share holders and CEOs that are qualified to get more money. We've been screwed!!!
