Did not one of you realize this company is run by X Ibmers who already have quit, retired or got laid off years ago? Why would anyone want to work in a Semiconductor business when IBM surplussed out thousands in 1993. Now all of you were hired and think this company was going to respect their employees? NYS begged AMD to build this plant first and then Global Foundries formed with IBM's help.. IBM wanted out of this process with all of its employees who could retire someday in the near future.
Time to move on.. All of the money spent (mostly free NYS Grants) on larger wafers and smaller circuits did NOT pan out....
Only Fishkill will be left because IBM needs someone to build their chips, as does the US Military...
