The company is not even bothering to send any sort of communication to employees whose managers were laid off last week. I know a group of employees who are now not reporting to any manager and were thrown in isolation.

No communication ANYWHERE, even at a LOB/departmental level. Just more announcements of long-time Sr Managers 'seeking other opportunities'.
