It is finally over, right? For now, the layoffs are done and we can relax for a bit?

It's not a path to profitability, it's a path to SELL the company. I've seen it happen several times in this industry. Keep bleeding the "costs" down (firing employees but not managers) until someone comes in a buys the company, usually resulting in big bonuses for management (RE: On Semi purchasing Fairchild a few years back).
The 424 layoffs announced now for Nov 2018 doesn't even include all of those others (Managers, etc) who were laid off back in June 2018 (a few months ago). The layoffs will continue for years unfortunately. There is not a good path to profitability for this company.
The leadership had informed the transformation may take a year. The external consultant hired by shareholder has set final target which may result in 3rd and 4 th round.
Next round of restructuring either Thanks- giving or may be a Christmas gift.
Ignore it your own peril
Wait for the Thanksgiving bonanza Round3. Coming to a Fab near you!
Layoff is over, so is the company!
Relax? This is semiconductor manufacturing, there is no relaxing!
